Hey guys,

ACS just calced my gpa and all, so I should be in an early mailing.

I was wondering, have any of you been accepted with only one semester of pre reqs done? Im concerned that, since im taking organic 1 and 2 during the current summer session, they wont have those A's to judge me on till december (when they allow the first academic update, if Ive read correctly), which for all intents and purposes may make me "late".

Luckily, my state school doesnt utilize Aadsas, so Im going to mail them my transcripts this summer as they become available.

Has anyone had any success in this situation? Or any advice?

Thanks

I was wondering this also. Can you apply without having all of the prereqs done?

yes. they just have to be done by the time you matriculate

Sure you can apply without finishing the pre-requisites. However, your chance of successfully competing with other applicants is greatly hindered.

In addition, if you are accepted, you have to complete the classes anyway.

Don't rush if you can help it. You'll be a much stronger applicant in the long run if you take your time now.

Apply now and under future coursework just put the courses you plan on taking in the Fall. Also once your grades are completed, it is best to send in your updated transcript to the schools and also any new developments since you submitted your application like new shadowing, volunteering or work related experiences.
