Hey guys,

I've been working on finalizing my study schedule for the summer and I'm a bit confused on the general consensus approach to phram. I know that everyone say's that FA is typically enough. However, I've also heard that it's a crammable subject that can/should be saved until the end.

So, my question is whether you guys did the pharm with each organ system, or saved the pharm until the end and just crammed it all in before the "final" FA review during the last week.

imo, pharm is crammable only if you have learned it well the first time around

behave sci and stats are more like last min cramming subj

Didn't learn it the first time around, so its not a crammable subject for me.

Right now I'm learning pharm with each organ system. And I am sticking with FA for most of the material. If I get confused on a drug/topic, I just pull out my lipincott or kaplan notes.

The pharm in FA doesnt have mechanisms....thats why i am gonna read Baby Katzung and maybe Pharm recall for the latest drugs.

the 2005 FA i have, had drug mechanisms
mechanism and significant side/adverse effects are important to know for usmle
