I'm not sure if there is even information on this question because I searched and searched. But..

I took the practice DAT exam through kaplan because they weren't offering a practice OAT. So I got my scores back from that and I was wondering if there is a conversion from DAT scores to OAT approximate scores.

If anyone knows where to look or a conversion factor or something that would be awesome! I take the OAT in a week and was just hoping to know what my possible scores would be.

Thanks to any who read and/or respond!😕

hehe. definitely a zero conversion for the physics portion.

a lot of people use DAT material to study, but i havent really seen anyone actually use a DAT practice for OAT since their is an entire section missing. Sorry I can't be of help to you there.

However, have you taken the practice test that ada makes available? there is a small handful of errors on it, but they have a conversion based on percentage at the end of the test. Might be helpful if you haven't done it already

here's the link if you need it: https://www.ada.org/oat/oat_sample_test.pdf

haha thanks! yes I know zero help for physics 🙂
But thanks for the link, I need to just look up the "errors" now to see how I did.

Just wondering if there was a predent that converted to pre opt that could give me a comparison of their scores. Thats all 🙂

So any Pre-Dents that took the DAT and switched to Pre-Opt and took the OAT how did your scores compare ????

I know not a very productive question, but just wondering! 🙂

I think the only way to compare would be to use percentiles. If you know your percentiles for the DAT scores, they probably correlate with the OAT... it wouldn't be perfect, but at least you'll have a general idea. Good luck!

Thanks, good idea! now to find that piece of paper in my disaster of an apartment. 😀 Thank you !!!
