(Approximately) how many questions can you miss on a section and still get a 127?

I know it depends on the particular exam, but does anyone know approximately how many questions you can answer incorrectly on a section and still get a 127? I haven't found anything online that correlates number of questions correct/incorrect to score on the new MCAT.

No one really knows because each test is scaled and possibly curved. So it really depends on your test day unfortunately. Supposedly Kaplan has updated their practice tests to better reflect the scoring system for the new version now

It doesnt just depend on the exam, it depends on the particular section. Besides, no one can know this for a very long time so DON"T dwell on it. Until the AAMC has released several scored practice tests, this info is impossible to know. You can look at the old MCAT curves as a rough idea, but that would be at best an educated estimation and not necessarily reliable.

Old MCAT Avg# of questions correct/total to score 12+ on each section. Average of AAMC exams 3-11

PS: 46/52 correct, ~88%

VR: 36/40 correct, ~90%

BS: 45/52 correct, ~87%
