Hello, this is my first post. I read a bunch of posts before I took my dat about people's scores and breakdowns so I thought I'd share my scores.

I used chads videos, cliffs AP bio, crack the dat, and a little bit of Kaplan. I wish I would have studied harder for bio, I didn't even read the whole cliffs book. Also I wish I would have paced myself better on the QR section. I had to Christmas tree the last 7 questions. :/

Oh and I did the first 50 questions for each subject on dat destroyer once.

I got destroyed on my math and I have to retake due to it. How did you kill it?

To be honest I thought I would so better on the math and I know I would have if I paced myself better. I would get 23s on all my practice exams but I guess the fact that it's the last section and you're worn out and I got caught up on some questions that I wasted a lot of time and had to Christmas tree the last seven real quick. But math has always been my strong subject. I used chads videos and crack the first fifty questions of dat destroyer.

For ochem I mainly used chads videos. Just outlined them and replayed a lot of them until I really understood the topics. I printed his outlines too and he really goes over the reactions really good so I just learned those. Chads videos are the best thing I used. Dat destroyer is pretty overwhelming so I tried not to use it much. Chad really focuses on what you actually need to know and doesn't waste time and pick your brain with small details.

As for the PAT, crack the dat pat was the only thing I used. It was very similar but there were some keyhole questions that were harder.

Oh and for ochem I also used crack the dat a lot and some kaplan online section tests.

Congrats! awesome scores! 🙂 How long did you study for? I have my DAT in about 3 weeks and I'm thinking of rescheduling it to have more time to practice.

Good luck!! It's always scary going into it, but you'll be surprised it's really just like taking another practice test except the scores you get on the real thing are higher! For me at least lol

Lol thanks! How long did you study for it? Do you have any practice test scores that you can compare to your real DAT?

I studied 14 weeks for a total of 313 hours.

My practice scores for crack the dat were:

Bio 15 16 17 17
GC 15 16 15 15
OC 18 16 17 16
TS 16 17 17 17
PAT 23 23
RC 17 18 20
QR 19 17 21

So I can say I definitely did much much much better on the real thing. I couldn't believe it.. It's always so scary going into it, don't let the practice scores discourage you.
