This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
What hospitals or clinics in the Chicago land area would an Arab speaking PT thrive in?

Are you asking where speaking Arabic is beneficial in the Chicago area or were you just describing yourself?

The US Army.

In other words, what hospitals/clinics receive many arab patients 🙂

Define "many." But likely very few hospital receive a large number of Arabic sepaking patients. Polish, Russian and Spanish speaking patients are all likley more prevalent.

I'm not sure your ability to speak Arabic is going to be a big selling point.

Im not trying to sell my ability to speak arabic lol, it's where i would have the most impact.

While not in the Chicago area. Mayo clinic in Rochester, Minnesota has a ton of Arabic speaking patients. As a student there I worked with several patients who utilized interpreters and it was the most called for language at their translation center. There is a lot of Heath tourism from the Middle East; whole families will come for care for up to several months at a time including therapy.

We just have a lot of families that fly in from arabic speaking countries for their kid's treatments and/or therapy. Unfortunately virtually every PT has to rely on a translator.

Jeez thats something to def think about.
Have you ever worked there or done a clinical there? If so, do they offer room and board like a place to live?

Mybad you were a student there. Can you give me info on who to contact? I wont contact them but will let my acce do so.
