Hi, I'm looking for some advice anywhere I can find it. I've been accepted to both Arcadia and Drexel and am having some trouble deciding between the two. Drexel would save me some money because their tuition is cheaper and the scholarship they're offering is better than what Arcadia is offering, but I'm worried about finding an affordable, safe place to live around Drexel and do not want to deal with a long commute if I choose to live outside of the city. Any and all advice is welcome. Thanks!

Firstly, Congratulations to you! What a thrill to have scholarships at two great schools!

I applied to both and got accepted to Drexel (no scholarship); no word from Arcadia. There are many similarities between the two schools and they both have great reputations. Of course they are also very different - location being a big part of it. One of the things that struck me about Arcadia was that the environment seemed to really allow students to focus.

I think it is a slight negative that Arcadia is not connected to a hospital and that you have to travel for anatomy but their cirriculum and case-based learning seems to be really well thought out. From the grads I talked with they really liked having anatomy later in the program.

Money is important but the quality of life over the next 2.5 years will also be important. I chose Temple over other schools because ultimately I felt like it will be a better fit for me even though it will cost me a little more.
