Why the focus on a top 20 medical school?
I guess there's no logical reason. I worked my butt of in highschool and got into some really good unis but had to go to my state school for financial reasons. Part of me thinks I owe it to myself to be able to go to a school that I'm really proud of?
I suggest reevaluating your mindsets regarding a “school you can be proud of.” The unfortunate reality is 60% of applicants fail to gain admission every year. Medical school isn’t undergrad where there are several thousand schools. With so few medical schools there isn’t really a bad program.I guess there's no logical reason.
