Are board study materials reimburseable?

Title pretty much says it all, but has anyone tried to get reimbursed for board review material? Did it work? I know a guy who has gotten reimbursed for all sorts of things from notebooks to typodont teeth.

from my understanding (at least w/ the USAF)...if you provie them a receipt, copy of the syllabus (or something equivalent), the reimbursement sheet and maybe a small letter from the instructor or whoever...you can get anything reiumbursed. Basically if you show them you HAD to buy something...you can get the $ back

If you can provide proof that it's a common cost to all dental students, then they'll most likely approve to reimburse the cost.
