Are Cambodians still considered ORM?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
0.1% of the US is cambodian, but only 0.01%-ish of doctors are Cambodian.
That is more of a school-by-school basis, but among Asian ethnicities, I personally would consider it underrepresented. I think I had cited HRSA or AHRQ statements regarding this. It is tricky since they are not always included in all URM definitions. Furthermore, Asians in general society are underrepresented in American leadership positions, including health care (Why East Asians but not South Asians are underrepresented in leadership positions in the United States).

I’m half cambodian, but listed myself as ORM on my app. Was not even aware it was considered as such

Did this ever come up in interviews? Did you talk about your own/your family's experience with the civil war?
