i know if you go to an MD school and you are not a citizen, you are treated like anyone else (with the exception that you still need to be sponsored a visa).
So a non US citizen MD is muchh better than non US citizen IMG.

However I heard that if you go to a DO school and you are not a citizen, you are treated like you're IMG?
I understand that the visa will still be an issue, but would i be treated as if i graduated from a foreign school?

a non us citizen who graduated from a DO school is like a non US ctizen who graduated from Poland or Morrocco or Italy or India?

Does anyone know where i can find more info about this?

im kinda freaking out right now because if fthis is true then there is literally no reason for me (or any canadian) to apply to DO.

Might as well go to India or Rawanda and pay a fraction of the price for medical education. its not like that would have any impact on my chances of matching anyways
