Hello, are group activities recorded during interviews? I recently had an interview in which teams of two completed an assignment together under a time limit. My teammate and I did not say anything negative to each other and openly shared ideas. However, I accidentally cussed twice during the task (it definitely wasn’t toward my partner, but because we were running out of time). I didn’t see anyone directly observing each group’s table, so I would like to know if we may have been recorded and later evaluated? If so, may the fact that I let a couple of unprofessional words slip affect my chances of acceptance?

There is literally no way for anybody to know this, but depending on what state you’re in recording you without your consent is a crime.

And even if they did record you, it’s highly unlikely anybody would care if you cursed unless it was a racial slur.

One of my interviewers recorded our conversation without any real consent. It was in new York. It was more like "I'm just gonna record this to play back later". I guess theythe least told me about it and i didn't refuse but it's not like i could've just said no lol. Was hands down my worst interview.
