I only had 1 interview this cycle and haven't heard back yet. Is there any chance of receiving another invite?

Still a few floating around. Got one last week, and another has hinted they're currently reviewing me (asked for a newer letter...).

But also, interviews going out now are for March, aka pretty low yield. Plan B thinking should be well underway.

How low yield r we talking? I still have 2 Interviews to go to and one of them is WVSOM which has a high post II acceptance rate (85%) so I'm really hopeful. Although, I am still preparing to reapply with a new mcat.

Many DO schools have a primary application deadline of 3/1, secondary deadline of 3/15. I know one school I’ve been accepted to interviews through the end of March, and I’m sure many others do too, and into April until the class is filled.

Most MD schools interview until mid March, many DO schools extend into mid April. Fingers crossed for you!

How low yield r we talking? I still have 2 Interviews to go to and one of them is WVSOM which has a high post II acceptance rate (85%) so I'm really hopeful. Although, I am still preparing to reapply with a new mcat.

Mmm DO schools do go a bit later, so yield will not fall off as much (couldn't give you an actual number, based on anecdotes). WVSOM could be quite different, don't know them well enough. But you should have at least one eye on another round of MCAT.

I haven't heard anything back from 15 out of 24 schools... I'm honestly just surprised that this many schools hand out silent rejections, lol.

Have you checked their application portals? Not all the schools I applied to sent emails, they just updated the portals.

Most DO schools are not done yet, I was told from multiple schools that they interview THROUGH March.

Sadly, some MDs will conclude their interviews in February, or early March

There are a couple that go into or through April. While they're increasingly low yield, they're better than no interview...

NYITCOM-OW was done in January I believe. NYITCOM-AR is still interviewing into March last I saw.

I just spoke to David from NYITCOM-OW Admissions and he said they are still reviewing applications and to keep checking my email and that the application cycle is closing soon. There is still hope. I haven't received an interview invite yet and he specifically looked at/opened my profile so this is good news that interview invites are still being given.
