i read all of those books u mentioned, and in my opinion, they were not as helpful in terms of high yield stuff u'll see on the boards, but they were defintitely helpful as long as you have time to go through them. i tend to read things from cover to cover without taking notes so i was able to do it.

I agree with my ol friend Russo.....Biochem in the kaplan series was AWESOME! Dr. Hansen (the author) is wonderful, she was actually the person that taught us during the course. In terms of the path book, its great too, however, only after you've made annotations to it from the actual kaplan prof (we had dr. barone...find out where he's teaching and attend the class!). Dr. Barone actually helped write the path book and he fills in the many 'holes' in the path book.

HOnestly though i think it's a tie b/w the kaplan physio book and the kaplan biochem. seriously, if u do the kaplan physio book in its entirety i think u will be very well prepared for ur classes and the boards.

just my thoughts

did u guys take the actual course--or just bought the texts? Is it truly worth the money for the course--and it seems like there are many difft ones--can anyone with prior experience shine a light in this dark hole? I'd appreciate it --russo, dew?
