I am wondering what is the best place to do CEs from, in terms of great content ?I see lots of places offering free CEs -- magazines, websites , also many websites offering paid CEs.

You don't have to reply if you have nothing sensible to contribute!
I think that's sensible. Why waste time going to a boring dinner meeting when you could get your CE done on an awesome vacation? My mom's entire dental office goes to Vegas every year and they get all their CE done at a big conference there.

i do the 1 hour ones on pharmacists letter on my phone. its fast and easy

I tend to do mine live at conferences, since I attend them anyway and sit in sessions anyway, with the exception of pharmacy law CEs. New Jersey requires 3 hours, and they send out law CEs you can do a couple times a year, so I do those, read, answer questions, write the $20 check, put it in the mail - easy and doesn't take much time.

The Pharmacist Letter is the best CE out there. Current, evidence based and NON biased.

I usually go for the $1000 cruise CEs...

Ok My bad , I thought this was a joke. I get what you are saying.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, that helps.

As a new grad, I am exempt from doing CE for the next year but I think it'd be nice to travel somewhere and knock off a few CE's in the process. Two birds with one stone.

+1
It's also brief or thorough, depending on how you're feeling about the topic 🙂
It's far more evidence based than most publications that claim to be so. I love it every time they say "But there's no evidence for this", even when it's some long-standing commonly-used undisputed practice.

No evidence = No evidence. Health care has been burned too many times for relying on "expert opinion" or "usual practices"
