I'm just curious because throughout all these threads it seems like everyone is killing their post-bac/masters courses, even people who had poor grades in undergrad. Is it easier to get good grades beyond undergrad? Seems weird to me. And I am also a little curious because if I don't get in this cycle, my gpa isn't the best so maybe i should consider more school 😕, since I don't think i want to retake the DAT i don't know what other options I have.

On that note, I was also wondering how people go into master's programs when they are applying this cycle, because the deadlines are way past.

1. People are getting better grades in their post-bac/masters because they are more motivated! They finally realized how they screwed up before and not to do it again.
2. I am doing a masters program right now. It is definitely not easier. I am taking 5-7 science classes/ quarter, but I do not have the extra responsibilities I have before (e.g. clubs). Classes are taught with much more detail, but exams are fair. There is no curve. You will get the grade you want if you put in the work. The benefit of being in a program is that you will have people next to you in the same boat to help you out. It is not crazy competition like undergrad.

Depends on where you go + more motivation.

One of my friends TA's, does one upper grad class and 8 units of research. Easy 4.0.

One of my friends does 3 upper science courses with no curve. Not an easy 4.0.
