Are Projected Senior Year Volunteering Hours Counted?

I am a sophomore currently without any non-clinical volunteer experience. I just started volunteering at a community garden for ~2 hours per week and plan on continuing it throughout undergrad. If I plan to apply during the summer of my junior year, will there be a section to mention the expected continuation? How much weight would adcoms place on the projected volunteer hours? Thanks.
