General Admissions & OTCAS Are public schools more likely to accept their own?

I know that a lot of private schools like to take their own students for graduate school, but what about public schools? Is there any difference?

I went to a public OT school and there were 4 students who had attended the same school for undergrad out of 38 students total, so I don't think there was any preferential treatment for alumni.
