I took a practice PCAT test (bought two tests) from the pearson's website. I, overall, think they are pretty easy and did better on the verbal portion than I thought I would. Are these test indicative or pretty close to the real deal?

Do you mean that you took the real PCAT and did just as well as you did on the practice tests?

Yes. I'm now a pharmacy student.

Each of my sections on the practice test gave me a range which my actual test scores fell within. This is true both for each individual section as well as my overall test score.

If you're doing well on the practice tests, you will likely do well on the actual test, providing you don't let your nerves get in your way.

when i solved pearson test i did good to ok for verbal and very good on bio. and chem. but when i solved other exams from pcat book (kaplan, barron , master the pcat etc.) then my score drop for verbal 36% to 50% but else is same; in 75%
does it mean that i should learn by heart only pearson words that is on verbal section given in all 3 papers. plz. help my exam date is 19th july 2012

Learn as many words as you can before your exam date. I would focus on Pearson's tests.

If you guys are consistent with the practice PCAT given by Pearson, I believe you will fall within +/- 10%- 20% of the actual score you get depends on the situation per say. (Test questions asked in that particular testing date may be hard, statistics of the pool is a lot higher so the average could also mean higher in a standard curve, etc.)

Quick note: Make sure you find a testing center out of range from urban areas so that you can take it quietly. People typing, moving around, etc can get annoying if you guys are very sensitive to the environment. Also the noise canceler headphones are really heavy!!

I am also a now pharmacy student.

Good luck to you all, just shoot me a message if you guys have any more to ask 👍
