Have any interviewers noticed a general pattern with regards to sex, age, cultural background, etc when it comes to interview performance? A doctor I do research for told me yesterday that he has noticed that men from an Asian cultural background tend to do worse (on average) because they are culturally conditioned to hold in their emotion and they may be pressured into doing medicine for cultural reasons (although, he himself is an Asian male so his views may be skewed).
EDIT: In no way shape or form do I think his comment is accurate. I just wanted to present it because that's what gave me the idea to make this post in the first place.
