Are there cool 4th yr electives people can do, I dont know how to find them but I remember hearing about things like:
* forensic path
* woodsmanship/medicinal herbs
* international opps in places like India and S America
Any one have a website or something where these things can be located?

My school offers a forensic pathology elective. Contact your local medical examiner's office.

I don't think woodsmanship is a medical specialty, but certainly wilderness medicine electives are available.

The international medicine electives require you to pay alot of money.

There is also the HEART elective of AMSA - that can some herbal medicine. The wilderness electives are also pretty cool from what I hear.

Some schools subsidize international medicine electives.

Forensic Pathology is a popular elective in Philly.

I enjoyed Pediatric Psychiatry....youre never too old to sit on the floor and play with blocks and cars all day. 🙂
