no. psychology/anthropology probably fall under social science and won't affect your science gpa. The indicator I look for is the abbreviation of the class. For example..I took biological psychology but it was PSY 330 - so it won't count for my science gpa.

I think the only science on that list for sure is Nutrition. A couple of others are questionable. Psych is non science.

The main thing that can effect if they're counted as Science is what department they are through, for example, if that Anthro class is called like:

Biology 241: Biological Anthropology
Biology 242: Health Sciences - Eating Disorders
Biology 243: Healthy Living

Then yes, they does count towards biology, if it is like this,

Anthropology 241: Biological Anthropology

then no, it won't count towards sciences. From the list below you will see that the above poster is correct for Psych, as it is a non-science. Nutrition counts as a other science, but if it is through the bio department it will count as biology.

This is correct. Its all about the department code....for example Statistics given by the Psychology department is counted as a non-science whereas if you took it with the Math department it would have been counted as Science (other) and would contribute to your sGPA.

That's a hard one - if you really wanted to you might be able to fit it under Bio as medicine, because its not necessarily "Health Technology" which is an other science.

If worse comes to worse they'll look at it and change it for you, no big deal.

Like I said before, I suppose it is possible to group that under medicine if that's your understanding of it, and in that case it would go under bio - but you be the judge of where you think it best fits.

I think science GPA calculation is ridicilous at some points. For instance introduction to computer class was given by both math and computer science department once I took at that time (and the content and even instructor was the same, was it count as science if it was written as Math in front). Same thing for biological antropology (As you guys mentioned). Unfortunately I took from ant. department which is the same course anyway(compared bio department), What about personel health which I took from health and education department? Will it be science or nonscience?I think science but who knows what do you guys think or what really is it?

Quick piggy-back on this list... what about Epidemiology? Where does that fit? Science or non-science?

Science? Possibly under Medicine thus bio I think, depends on what department it came from.

Is exercise biology (under college of biological sciences but course Prefix is EXB) counted as a science course or biology course. Does the content matter at all? what if the course is exercise psychology? And is food science technology (FST) courses counted as science gpa?
