Are these technical standards discriminatory?

Maybe I’m the only one who read it this way - but it appears to me that rule gives this med school grounds to rescind admission to candidates who might have, say, had an alcohol abuse problem that they overcame. Or were previously suicidal, etcetc.

You’re probably right, though. These rules rarely lead to discrimination in practice.

The rule is saying if you have something that will interfere with patient care. I.e. if you are currently in any way incapable of patient care due to something.
