i would think so, as long as you dont do it before the test starts so they dont think you are cheating. i think you cant write anything until u start the test

This.

Aw crap! Well that stinks. How are you cheating if they check you before you even go in?

i took it 2 days ago and had memorized a bunch of physics formulas for it, so immediately after i finished the little tutorial section (but before i pressed "end tutorial") i wrote down everything i could remember on the dry erase boards. no one said a thing about it... nor do i think they really can. i mean like you said, they check you before you go in... so anything you DO write down, you know on your own. hope this helps, good luck!

I wrote down everything during the 15 min tutorial as well. There is nothing in the OAT handbook (which btw, we are all required to read prior to signing up for the OAT) that indicates that is in anyway against the "rules"

Kaplan also recommends doing this.

Thanks Ahad and Kiwi! Great idea. Never thought of this. Don't we have a option to skip the tutorial? I don't plan on skipping it. I know that there a cameras there but it's not like they're zooming in on your screen and making sure your board and screen match material right? Kiwi, thanks for the confirmation of Kaplan doing this!

I used the tutorial time to write down EVERYTHING that I thought was going to be on the test... equations.. mnemonics.. whatever I thought would help me down the line. It's not against the rules.

yeah, i skipped the tutorial, but its because i didnt really have any formulas memorized and i just wanted to start the test so i could get it over with. but yeah, the tutorial is the perfect time to write stuff down like that

Agreed to all above, it's a great idea to write them all down during the tutorial. My biggest fear was forgetting physics equations so i used my fifteen minute break to write down all physics equations i had memorized. Although.. i only ended up needing like 3 of them on the actual test

Great idea Optomhope. This will cut down on them getting accidentally erased between the Biology and physics section. I just don't want anyone at the test center to think I am cheating. I have worked WAY too hard to have anything like this hold me back.

1) they won't think ur cheating. Once you get past "customs", they leave u alone.
2) They give you like 2 sheets to write on, both front and back.. You shouldn't have to worry about erasing them from other sections.

Thanks DawgOD. I just know they have cameras to watch the test takers.😳
