I called three schools today to see if my file was complete. One said yes it was, One said they haven't gotten to them, the other one was being an ass about it and didn't tell me very much. I don't want to call them to check up on them b/c I feel like that is bothering them. I am concerned b/c my file is complete at Tulane yet I haven't heard anything else from them and it seems that everyone on this board is getting interview invites for that school!
Just wondering if anyone else is calling...

I CALLED ALL THE SCHOOLS...unless I was already notified via email that it is complete...

some of them were very nice, some of them SO RUDE!!! sheesh, I just asked one quick question, and she was like SIR, we will notify you....blah blah blah...

Tulane was complete a 2 weeks ago, and i didnt hear **** either...so dont worry

i stayed home sick today so i decided to call all of my schools (although my voice wasn't the most pleasant)
Penn State - told me to call in a week
(not entered in computer yet)
St. Louis - complete
Rochester - said I would get an e-mail when
my file is complete. she was
not nice
Tulane - complete
Jefferson - told me to call in a week
MCW - complete - just waiting on 1 RECC

for the most part they were all pretty nice... except for the Rochester lady who was a snob.

** but the weird thing is... i'm a grad student and those schools who have labeled my file complete have not received my letters from grad school. they said that it was ok.... but i think my grad schools are strong. i just need to hurry up this one professor so that my packet can be finished and sent.

yeah. haven't heard a thing from Tulane either. i hear they interview a ton of kids too! oh well. who likes Mardi Gras anyways?

Called JohnsHopkins because it's the only school that I sent paper AMCAS to where my delivery confirmation was never confirmed by USPS. The lady there was nice enough, but seemed very exasperated by the fix AMCAS has put them in. She could not tell me whether they'd received the copy I sent and told me that they were sending out postcards in 1-2 weeks about what they've received. And that I would be getting a secondary if I filled in the on-line form requesting one.
