Are you guys mailing application fee with tracking # and/or express mail?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
No, I sent it regular mail, but I would only recommend that for instate schools.

Always with tracking/delivery confirmation. Its 75 cents more or something but mainly it makes sure the envelope with the check gets to the schools. Regular mail is definitely reliable, but I don't think any school will be kind enough to remind us to pay twice, so if the check is lost there could be some problems.

I sent all of mine via regular mail with no tracking. They all arrived there, but looking back, I would have used tracking just for peace of mind. I say use the tracking.

Instate regular mail but OOS with tracking.

Y'all are crazy! Sending your money without paying more than what you need to....

Seriously though, I guess I'm just paranoid since I have sold tons of stuff online and have had a couple bad experiences...also I have shipping accounts with heavy discounts so its no real additional cost for me.

I xpresspost everything......cost $23 each puny little envelope. But I guess that's because i'm from Canada.

Now that's more like it! International mail is such a pain though; every time I ship internationally I have to ship via EMS too. There just is no other way to make sure your things get there. I really hope in the next few years the schools will all have electronic payment methods so we can leave this snail mailing checks business in the annals of history.

lol to be honest, I never even thought of that. All my stuff got received by schools thru regular mail... Not spending a cent more than I need to! Jk, in hindsight, I'll should've done tracking but eh
