I just got an email this morning from UMSL. It said my application was 'virtually' complete even though I have sent in all my stuff. Anyway, it was outlining my OAT scores and GPA then giving me what the competitive range was for each. It didn't mention anything about an interview or being denied completely. It seemed all they wanted to know was whether or not I was retaking the OAT. Has anyone else received an email like this? I just don't know what to think about it. Any ideas?

I don't remember if I got that e-mail or not... I know after I got in, they sent me a congrats e-mail from a few faculty members who interviewed me. I go to UMSL. it is a great education and I really love it

I received an Email last week from UMSL inviting me for an interview. The Email didn't say anything like what you are describing. I also didn't get a separate Email like what you described. I would guess that maybe they are just letting you know what you could do to strengthen your application if you had a weak area, and if you take the steps to correct it, than they will invite you for an interview? I don't know for sure, though. Maybe you could call the school and ask them what exactly the Email means in the whole scheme of things. Good luck!

i called the school. apparently they want me to retake the OAT. I talked to Dr. Brown. She seemed as if I could score higher on my second try, i woudl get an interview. Too bad I can't take it again until december. That shouldn't be too late, though.
