Are you pre-med? Has the COVID pandemic affected your plans?

I am one of a group of 4 physicians at UCSD whom are trying to determine how the COVID pandemic has impacted pre-med applicants. We have designed a really short survey (~5 minutes; UCSD IRB approved) and hope the anonymous data will help define the challenges you are facing during this difficult time. People who have already taken the short survey have actually said it made them feel better, validated their feelings and struggles with all of the test date cancellations, volunteering, shadowing and research opportunities drying up. We are hopeful that the survey results may give us the opportunity to improve the med school application process in the future. Hope you can take it and share it so that we can fully understand the difficulties you are facing!
