If you got a waitlist from Yale, does your letter give any indication that you're high on the waitlist? Is everyone's letter the same?

I believe everyone gets the same letter and then once they find out how many people want to stay on the waitlist and how many people decide to matriculate, they set up their tiers. that's how i understand it. I'm hoping to get in off the waitlist myself. good luck.

I just got my waitlist, and it doesn't seem to indicate anything about where I am on it. But I'm going to withdraw in any case, so hopefully it will help some of you.

Okay good. because last year's thread said that someone was told they were on the top of the waitlist. but this was just last year correct? nothing like this on anyone's letter this year?
