Area around NSUCOM

I'll likely be driving from Miami to NSUCOM when I have my interview. I know traffic can be really bad, so I was figuring on leaving pretty early. Is there anywhere to get breakfast around the school? If I eat before a certain time, I get naseous. So can anyone recommend a decent place to get breakfast as close as possible to the school to minimize the chances of me getting lost afterwards? I'm not at all familiar with the area, so I don't know if there is a Starbucks or diner on every corner like there is where I live.

dunkin donuts right across the street...also a waffle house on davie and nova drive, about 3 miles away...starbucks on university and griffin, im sure there are other places too that ive missed

We stopped at the Dunkin Donuts as we were leaving from NSU. That #1 combo made the 7 hour drive home a little more tolerable 😀 . One word of advice: if you get their coffee and ask for cream and sugar, they will put a TON of cream and sugar in your cup of joe. Ask them to go easy on the cream and sugar if you don't like your coffee to taste like candy.

There is actually a caf right in the building that houses admissions. You can't get any closer than that. When you walk into Terry building the admissions office will be to the right while a door on the left side of the lobby leads to the caf.
