I would like to hear from anyone attending, or will attend ASDOH about any pros/cons they can think of. Also, I saw that I am responsible for paying for transportation, room, and board for any clinical setting that I may be assigned. What are the possible locations that I may end up being assigned? I have no problem traveling to different locations, but I am concerned as to how I will come up with the extra money. Is this just added to your student loans?

Any input about ASDOH would be welcomed.

As of right now, there are about 60 sites throughout the country. There are plenty in Arizona and in the Phoenix area. Sites that are out of state are required to provide students with housing, so you will NOT be paying for room/board at those locals.

Extra loan money is given your D4 year to assist with transportation. Let me know if you have any other questions!

It is strange to think that I have spent 15 years away from my home state of Oregon and have worked my tail off the last few to have an opportunity to return. I did get accepted to OHSU but I am going to turn it down to attend ASDOH.
