where should we put the shadowing hours and info?
the first section is about Experience in dentistry for which you were financially compensated. List dental experiences as a dentist, dental technician, dental hygienist or dental assistant.

and the second section is Volunteer experience in dentistry (for example at a dental office, community health center, IHS clinic, or something similar - do not include observation or shadowing)

so where should we put the shadowing hours? i am confused😕

Shadowing is not volunteer or community service, in most cases. I didn't put my shadowing experience, only actual volunteer service.

And like it says, do not include orbservation or shadowing.

I did not include them at all in my secondary. I do not think these questions are concerned so much with the overall time that you have spent around dentistry (they already know that from AADSAS), rather how your direct participation in dentistry has shaped your understanding and desire to pursue it as a career.

Shadowing is not that important for ASDOH. They look at you volunteering and community services.
