It turns out I can claim Arkansas or Texas residency. Anyone got an opinion on where it would be easier to get into? (I have no knowledge of Spanish, and I'm planning on doing rural health care.)
be careful on this point. TX schools aren't so big on MCAT except for UTSW and Baylor. and UTSW is looking for people who want to do rural care. actually one of the harder schools to get into (Houston, after Baylor and UTSW) has pretty low MCAT scores. they just use a computer program to choose who to invite to interviews, and then they go much more on the person.Originally posted by mashce
Actually, the average accepted MCAT at UAMS is the same as that of Loyola, and I think Mercer and Creighton, and is actually higher than one of the UT schools.
