Any opinions into which specialty produce the most arrogance? (or the biggest a$$holes!?)

At the private hospital I've worked at, I would say Renal. Don't know why, but it seemed that EVERY renal doc I ever worked with was an arrogant prick.

At the University hospital, it seems to be surgeons hands down. From time to time, it varies between neurosurgeons and a couple of the trauma attendings...

IMHO and limited experience being so early into my medical career/training...it seems that arrogance is individual dependent...what it all boils down to is what kind of person they are outside of medicine that translates into the type of person you see on a day to day basis...for the most part..the more well rounded the person is the less medicine is at the center of their universe...hence the more easy going and laid back attitude...
