wondering if anyone else see this before.

NOT venous... but going towards the spine, AND or Aorta.

there are a lot of veins down there.....

i see more vascular uptake at S1 than at any other level, but it is typically venous.....

agreed re the veins in the area. especially with caudals, S1 as well

DEFINITELY arterial uptake today. I've never seen it before at S1. only read about it...

Neurological injury from an S1 TFESI has been described - so it could be arterial.

I've never seen it - but don't do much S1's (caudal works fine for me.)

venous all the time with S1. I used to try slight adjustments to get out of the vasculature, but I rarely was able to get out of it. Now I back all the way out to the posterior sacrum and walk back in a few mm adjacent. Haven't seen arterial that I've noticed at least.

Repositioning as mentioned above; often, if not always venous.
