I just wanted to see if this line of reasoning is correct.

Arteriosclerosis in the aorta

  • Decrease: Arterial compliance of where the arteriosclerosis is --> decreased Diastolic P

    Increase: Systolic P & Pulse pressure

Arteriosclerosis in the downstream arteries

  • Decrease: Arterial compliance of where the arteriosclerosis is, Pulse Pressure decreases

    Increase: TPR, Systolic P & Diastolic P Unequally (Diastolic increased more than Systolic), increase MAP
