ASA 2013 for med student

I'm a 4th yr med student applying this for anesthesia. Is it worth the flight and hotel to attend ASA 2013? If so, what do you recomend I do at the conference? Thanks.

I'm in the same boat and will be attending. There's a med student and resident schedule on the website. Probably the most important event is the PD meet and greet.

I was hoping to get away with wearing a nice polo and khakis or slacks, with some nice shoes. I hate button down shirts.... just absolutely hate them.

Since your two years out from applying that's fine, the year you apply not as much.
