I'll be there. Anyone else going and what hotel did you manage to get your department to pay for??? I will be at the Grand Venetian sleeping by the canal in a sleeping bag/tent.

Yeah, good luck finding a room if you don't already have reservations. Besides ASA, there is apparently a major bull-riding competition in town (who knew???), and EVERYONE is booked unless you want to stay way outside of town or get a suite starting at $500 a night.

Leaving Friday for Vegas!

Our department pays for all of the CA-2's to go to the ASA each year.
They pay for airfare, hotel and a small daily allowance. Not too shabby!

Went to the RMA and it was a blast. Only $30 too. Afterwards went to a party and most of the major players dropped by for a few minutes. Usher is a lot shorter than I thought he would be.

Met Janet "wardrobe malfunction" Jackson. Too much surgery, but nice chatting for a few moments.

Molly Sims is hot. TALL and hot.

Saw Stallone hitting up a Cameron Diaz look a like. Maybe the real Diaz minus Timberlake.

Have to say: Enough with the Hummer limos.
