Pre-Optometry Clubs and Advisors –We hope your 2025 is off to an amazing start! ASCO is excited to connect with all the pre-opportunity clubs listed on our website to share some updates with you.
Eye Opener Sessions (EOS)
As you may already know, ASCO recently launched the Eye Opener Sessions (EOS) program and it has been a hit! We now have nearly 200 Doctors of Optometry ready to serve as mentors. Depending on geographic location, they are available for either virtual or in-office shadowing. All students have to do is answer a few questions about goals and hobbies and we will match Doctors of Optometry with like-minded students. To learn more about the program, visit the EOS website.
Share Your Optometry Journey
We are always on the lookout for students to contribute videos, blogs, written articles about the optometry career path and the journey to optometry school This could be a fun and engaging group or individual project for your pre-optometry club. Here are a few topic ideas:
