ASDOH anyone?

So they accept more students than what we are told they accept?

What do you mean? You're surprised that ASDOH accept more than 68 students? Not everyone one of the accepted students decide to attend a certain school so ALL school accept more than their entering class. The class size of 68 is the number of matriculating students and the number of people accepted are always greater than the matriculating students.

It was a misunderstanding in my part. For some reason I was thinking of the accepted students as the matriculating students.

Me too. I am not sure what that means. Has anyone ever gotten that decision and got accepted before? I was just wondering what the statistics/reality is of getting accepted. I was also wondering if anyone knew when the deadline to send a deposit is for the people who have been sent offers? If the deadline is known, then at least we can try to estimate when they might make a decision on the "still being considered" people.

Almost everyone, besides the applicants that got rejected immediately after interview, receive the to be considered letter. The 2nd deposit is due on May 1st. Some spots may open up then, but I wouldn't expect too much movement because 70% of accepted students matriculate to ASDOH.

Btw, here is a thread from last year if it helps you determine your chance of getting in. http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=603956

I was interviewed on March 2 and when I called ASDOH:
Nanette: The class has been currently closed. We're in the process of sending out letters those who didn't get accepted.
Me: Should I be expecting a letter of rejection?
Nanette: Yes
