but no call yet?
Just got an update for ASDOH on AADSAS to "Offer Made"!
Mine also said I needed supplemental materials but it only said that after my status changed.

I do have these status changes, but my AADSAS still says "invited for interview." At what point should we call them for an application status?
Same thing here. I would really hate to see that this is just AADSAS messing with us again.
I couldn't take it anymore so I called. They said I am not on the list to be called today, but that since I got the "you're still being considered" letter, I'm still being considered. So if AADSAS still says "invited for interview" it should mean you were not accepted nor rejected in the first round. Hope that helps everyone.

When did you interview? I interviewed quite late also, but was not informed of this.
Anyone else still waiting to hear from ASDOH? I emailed Joyce last week and received an email back stating 'there is a good chance you will receive an offer from us this year.' Is anyone else in the same boat, or are you aware when their next round of acceptances will be? I have other offers, but ASDOH is my top choice and the wait is killer!
When you say this year, did she imply as in 2009 or this application cycle?
That's precisely what I'd like to know, she didn't imply one way or the other. It appears that in past cycles, they sent out a few more acceptances mid-December, but then again some people didn't hear from them until February or March, so who knows.
Has anyone heard from ASDOH since Dec. 1? For those of you who are waitlisted, did you receive a formal 'waitlist' status update, or were you just told you were still being considered? ASDOH is my top choice and I've received other offers, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed AZ will work out!
I've heard some people who interviewed after December 1st getting acceptances, but not before. In regards to the waitlist, I'm sure everyone is referring to the "you are still considered" letter. Did you specifically inform ASDOH that you have acceptances from other school but would like to attend ASDOH? During my interview, Dave from Admissions said to do so if you are in that circumstance to possibly receive a quicker offer.

I interviewed during the first week of December, and heard back in a matter of days.
I agree w/ Pacific2013 in that, if you've received offers from other schools, to contact Nanette (at admissions) so they can give you an answer as soon as possible. Just be sure that if you've gotten offers from other schools, ASDOH is going to need to see some sort of acceptance letter and/or email, as proof.
I'm currently weighing my options between ASDOH and Loma Linda, so if anybody has any pros/cons btwn the two programs, please help me by offering your advice here:

May I ask why ASDOH is your first choice? Are you from AZ?
Not from AZ, but I loved the nice area, boards the first year, community/service oriented, whole last year is clinical rotations, friendly environment, etc. We also get lectured by Dr's who work in the areas they are teaching, not a full time professor.
But again, the biggest thing is the focus on creating leaders in the community who serve others and those in need.

I just got an e-mail from Nanette pertaining to second rounds of acceptances. They want to know if you are or are not interested so they can make a decision for second round of acceptances. You need to reply back by January 11th, so don't forget to do so and I can't wait!!!!

I'm in! 😀 No phone call as yet, but I just checked my AADSAS status and it was changed to 'Offer Made' as of today. Congrats to all the new acceptances! I'm so glad to finally know.

Did anyone else hear anything from ASDOH after interviewing after Dec 1st? I think they had another round of decision, and I think I was not one of the lucky ones to be accepted from it. I was wondering if anyone else that interviewed in Jan heard anything?
I remember reading someone who interviewed last week got in.

One advice I can give you is RELAX, take your time to think, and be ready to defend your position. The people who interview you will give you challenging questions and you need to be able to support your argument. I think they want to see you follow through with your thought process. So in a bad way, I personally felt I was being interrogated and sorta panicked because the correct words wouldn't pop up, but in the end I felt satisfied because I followed through with what I thought and had nothing more to say.

Interviewed on Jan 28, and the only thing I received was a card stating that "I am still being considered" about a month ago.
I wouldn't expect too much movement from ASDOH. The Facebook group made by the school shows 46 committed students and I'm sure that's not everyone. Just to give you an idea, for the Class of 2013, 438 were interviewed and of them, only 96 got accepted for a class of 68.
But I bring good news as I will decline my spot! I hope someone on SDN get it !
