asdoh letter
Started by prydA
hello, to those that interviewed at asdoh already, did you guys get the letter saying you weren't rejected yet? mine came in the mail a couple of days ago.. yay for the passing of the first barrier!
No word yet either way for me, but I was curious about this also. So how long was it from the date of your interview until you received the letter?
I interviewed there 9/9. From what I remember at the interview, the admissions lady told the group that some of us will get this letter and others will get rejection letter within a month of the interview and that this letter means I am either IN or Waitlisted. 😕😕😕
Which means I should a letter within the next week or so... cuz my interview was on the 18th. sigh... the waiting game...
Can you guys post up you interview feedback please? thanks.
they advertise their curriculum really really well (especially the 4th year schedule). but over all I enjoyed the group interview. every one was really friendly. The actual interview was kinda hard core but the day was enjoyable along with the people and the weather.

Hey Guys,
I understand in the past the post-interview letters notified the interviewee whether they are in "Top Group", "Waitlisted", or "Rejected". Are there different categories this year? "Considered" or "Rejected". Can anyone shed some light on this?

This year they are only sending letters that will say" you are still being considered" or " sorry but your out" this will be mailed about 30 days after the interview session.Hey Guys,

Right on. I'm a re-applicant and was "Top Grouped" last year and received the "Considered" letter this year. I guess I am still in the game. Thanks for the reply Crew07, I really appreciate it!
Ok from this point if you get the letter saying you are still being considered, you can be accepted or waitlisted? There are no more chances of rejection? Thats awesome news! It settles the nerves for a moment. Ok so how are ASDOHs waiting lists organized? Ive read a little about it but I dont the specific details.
thanks
thanks
My question is has anyone gotten the no thanks (rejection) letter? everyone that has posted has gotten the still being considered letter (myself included). Or are there people who haven't gotten a letter at all?

The wait list will have 25 names on it, There will not be a specific order to the list. Lets say that the applicants are A, B, C, D, E and B is accepted but then goes to a different school they will choose one of the 25 that matches Bs stats to fill the spot. That is why there is no order to the list. A letter stating that your still be considered means" you have not been rejected" nothing more. People that were "top group" last year did not get in.
Hope this helps

How did you get this info?

I live a mile from the school and it is my number one choice. I have spent A LOT of time at the campus getting to know the school and faculty. Joyce Hainye, director of admissions and student affiars, informed me of this information.

Must be Tiffany?!😎
Sure enough, couldn't help myself. I had to correct the spelling, oh course all in good humor. Good luck with the interviews! I am routing for you! 😀

Sorry about the misspelling, sometimes I forget how to spell my Aunts last name seeing that she is my dad's sister and we have different last names😉 see you at ASDOH.
P.S. I hope you are not routing anything(unless it is a package of course). I am rooting for everyone as well.
Sorry but "I COULD NOT HELP MYSELF" too.

Yeah, I'm starting to get the feeling that no one has gotten a post-interview rejection letter...
For all we really know they could just be sending these further consideration letters out to everyone.
