I'm looking into to several schools from all over the country. Not residing in Arizona the only info I have on the school is from there website and SDN posts.
Anyone who has interviewed there in the past or is currently attending list your pro's & con's you have the with the program.

Thanks!!!

I live about 20 minutes from the school. I have been there many times for anything from open houses to Kaplan DAT prep classes. Pros and cons depend on who you are but here is my list.

Pros
The school has money. Lots of good stuff including cerec.
The school is new but not so new they have to learn on their students.
The Sim Lab is really really nice. You get your own station.
Its in a great part of town (east Mesa). Off to the side a little so you don't get the Phoenix craziness or dirtiness.
They take boards year one and get in the clinic year two.
This module based learning system they talk about is very appealing to me. They fly in some of the best teachers from around the country for 2-4 week stints where they teach their respective discipline. It is an intense learning style (i.e. learn biochemistry in 2 weeks).
They have an Orthodontics program now.
Winters in AZ are amazing.

Cons
The poliltics of the school. They are so heavily leveridged on trying to produce community dentists its a bit unrealistic. (Most recent grads with $230,000 debt aren't going to immediately volunteer to work on the reservation)
Because of there desire to get the "volunteer type" dentist they have low GPA and DAT score students showing it is not a school based entirely upon academic results (pro and con for me)
It is Expensive.
You really don't know how hot Arizona is till you live here. Trust me! It was 115F on the fourth of July and that was with some clouds.

In conclusion, it is a good school but is not at the top of my list. Good luck! If you have any specific questions let me know.

Just a little side note: I was there with my wife today to find more imformation about the occupational therapy program for her and it so happened to be the first day of orientation for the new dental students. I swear it looked like all the guys had some sort of Versace outfit on and the girls in Louis Vuitton. They were just dismissed and many of them had fancy cars too. Hopefully my shirt and tie from the thrift store will work for the first day of class(wherever that may be). However, it seems to be a good school even though their interview process seems to be a little strange
