Depends on what you are after. If you aren't interested in a residency/fellowship, and are not super-involved in ASHP, then there is no reason to attend.
The sessions are either duplicate of what you have learned/will learn at school, or on topics too specific for someone not employed in that particular area. And it's not like you will be able to use them for CEs, either.
You attend either for learning, or for networking, or for specific reasons (interviewing at PPS, exploring residency showcase, presenting a poster, manning an exhibit booth) or a combination of these. As a student, if you don't have a specific reason to go, I don't see a reason to attend, unless it is in a city you want to visit and/or your friends are coming, so you can hang out together. Considering that meetings are usually in Las Vegas, Orlando and Anaheim (not sure if they started including New Orleans back into the rotation yet, they stopped after Katrina), this may be enough of a draw in and of itself. So if you have extra money lying around - why not?
