1. Hit up the gym so you are bigger than your opponent.
2. You should plan on taking the ACT at the end of your freshman year so you have ample amounts of time to study for the MCAT during your soph, junior, and senior year in high school.
3.Make sure you take Honors everything so med schools will be impressed.
4. Take every biology class you can get your hands on, repeat if you run out.
5. It's better than the movies, you don't have to study or anything and you will get a perfect ACT/SAT score!
6. Sit by yourself, don't forget that you are going to be doctor, can't let anyone get in the way of that!
I am just kidding, hopefully no entering high schooler will take that seriously.

If someone does sit next to me and tries to be friendly, what should I do? Obviously they are trying to distract me from my ultimate goal of obtaining my MD!
Unless it is a really hot chick, you simply continue memorizing the Arrhenius equation and pretend like no one is there. If they try to make a move, use the laws of physics to deter their actions.
College Sophomore weighing in here. The SDN mantra is disregard females, acquire MD. Clearly Jpatel is trying to interfere with your goals OP. I recommend pretending no one is there regardless of attractiveness.
This was regarding to a high school freshman who has just finished the ACT and is getting ready to study for the MCAT... Sophomore year is when mission Acquire MD begins! That little gap allows for some exceptions, attractiveness being one. 😉

Whoops, that was my seniority kicking in, I have to remember I am helping freshman and sophomores! In that case, everything we talked about is 100% valid and should be followed, its the only way you will become a doctor!!!

2. Have a 4.0 GPA
3. Make sure you take honors classes to impress the adcom
4. Make sure you disregard any women who may want to obstruct you from getting your MD
5. Download and install surgeon simulator so you learn how to perform certain procedures before even getting your MD.
6. Use the simple formula that will get you into med school 99.9% of the time. (MCAT+GPA+EC+RESEACH+PUBLICATION+VOLUNTEER+CRAZY LIFE EXPERIENCE THAT DISTINGUISHES YOU+SWAG= MED SCHOOL (MD). Now take any one of those out, and you have yourself a DO.)
