I didn't know, I knew I wanted a career in healthcare, I knew I wanted to be my own boss someday and not sell my soul to a hospital system, and I did not want to be woken up in the middle of the night for most of my working career. I sort of hoped for the best and came out knowing I made the right choice.

If they let me in the kitchen I would probably burn it down, so negative on the baking 🙂 I did play a musical instrument for a long time though.

I wish it was that easy for me..I overthink things to the 1000th degree and constantly doubt if I'm meant to do this, blah blah....

I for sure thought this way too, so many of my classmates were the "we've wanted to be dentists since we could walk!" type and I was more the "I really don't think I can do this, I really think this test is going to be the end of me, I really need some Nutella and my bed" type

Did you still have an active social life in dental school? Do you keep in touch with many of your classmates or does everyone go separate ways after school?

Yes, and I talk to my best dental school girlfriends at least once every day or two(via text or phone, as they did not stay in the area)
