I took the MCAT in June and am already applying this cycle, but wanted to retake to try to improve my chances. I am retaking on 11/7.

I am already complete (secondaries sent in and confirmed) at my top half choices. DMU, specifically asked on their secondary if I wanted them to wait to review my app until my 11/7 scores come in. I know that it's essentially like sending my secondary in December, but there have been later apps that have gotten acceptances so I don't think it's the end of the world.

That being said, in order to ease some of my anxiety, should I contact my other schools and ask if they are going to wait to review my app until those scores come in?

My planned retake is on my AACOMAS app. And if any secondaries asked if I was retaking, I indicated it (although I don't think any others did). If any others asked if I wanted them to wait to review my app, I indicated yes (although I don't think any others did). So I'm not trying to hide it. And I've been complete anywhere from 1-~2 weeks at the other schools, so I know I shouldn't expect any potential II for another week at least.

I'm not worried about that, but obviously if I think they are reviewing my app, but they are waiting for my scores, I'm going to be getting more and more anxious until those scores are released and they have time to receive them and review my app. Basically, I don't want to spend November and half of December waiting, thinking they are reviewing my app but haven't send anything yet while they are actually waiting for my scores.

Does this all make sense?
Thanks for your help

If it was indicated on AACOMAS app, then they will not review it until that exam score is back. Even if they do (very unlikely), they won't make a decision until the score is in. So I don't think you need to contact anyone. I mean you havent heard back from any schools yet right? so that should be an indicator that your app hasn't been reviewed.

It hasn't been very long since I submitted secondaries, so I wasn't expecting anything this early anyway (it's only been about 2 weeks).

I figured that is what was going to happen, just wanted to make sure I wasn't being mistaken.
