I would like to know what people thought on here about contacting your interviewers within a week or the interview to ask them about your application (i.e. strong points, WEAK points, etc.)?

Also, keep in mind that I've had a few student interviews; perhaps this would make it a bit more inviting to question them on different ways you can improve your interview skills.

What do you guys think?

Wouldn't do it, at least not until you get a decision. I would be weirded out if an applicant emailed me to ask what they thought of their application. That nets you no benefit since they are only one person with one opinion but could result in significant loss. Not worth it in my opinion.

(sent from my phone)

No way.

Don't do this.

Thanks a lot guys, might have dodged a bullet there

Same question but after you've received a decision. I still don't think I would if I were wait listed but if you were flat out rejected would you consider it?

All of the reasons after interview are of little help: too nervous, awkward, arrogant...

You can give it a try, but I'm guessing your that your e-mail will be ignored or you won't be told any useful information. And, again, it's only one person's opinion - on multiple occasions I've had pretty substandard interviews with applicants from my perspective that ultimately end up getting accepted. Different people pick up different things; in some cases I'm sure these things are contradictory.

I can understand wanting to know just for the sake of curiosity, but in all likelihood you won't get anything useful from it.

Cincinnati Dean says he is happy to give feedback post-decision, but I don't know how many schools/Deans are like that.

Definitely best to wait until at least after decisions have been rendered, but most schools prefer to reserve feedback to students who get rejected everywhere.
