hi im having alot of difficulty in going my coursework and which is based on solvent extraction. If any one knows what the difference between aspirin and 2-acetoxybenzoic acid is i would be really grateful. 🙂

Think about the following and I'm pretty sure the answer will be obvious: what is enteric coating? What is its purpose? How does it work? If you were to crush an enteric coated pill, what happens to the enteric coating? Do you think it would still be effective for its purpose?

Enteric coated tablets should not be broken into pieces or it loses it's properties.
