Hi, I was just wondering what everyones take is on the AMPS is and if anyone is currently certified with it. I have an opportunity to take the course at my school but it's so expensive. Do you guys, as certified occupational therapists, believe it's worth it? How beneficial will it be for me to take it? I know that this would probably be my only opportunity to take the courses and get certified, so I don't want to miss out on it if it's really worth it. It's just I already have so many loans to pay off as it is.

Let me know your opinions, thanks!

I have a professor that was certified for this and it's a process from what he explained.

There are plenty of other tools out there to determine someone's skills, but that one could really make you more marketable if you facility knows how to put that to their advantage (which you would explain to them)😉.

What area of practice do you want to work?

BTW does that thing require recertification every so often and how much is that ... just another factor to consider.

Good luck.
